Starting again in March, I’ll be running courses for parents who were sexually abused as children.
These courses will take place over Zoom, but in different clusters around the country. The rationale is that when we are allowed share spaces with others again, those who have done the courses will be geographically close enough to meet up for support, should they choose to do so.
The three centres will be Dublin, Cork, and Galway, the courses will run from 8pm until 10pm. Each cluster will be limited to ten participants.
These will be closed sessions – meaning that after the first week, people will not be allowed to join, to preserve the confidentiality, and trust, in each group.
The fee for the 14 weeks is €150 per person. If this amount is an issue for you, please contact me: We can figure something out (a monthly or weekly payment, or a partial payment if that’s all your means will allow). I don’t want people to be prevented from taking part because of lack of funds. Trauma impacts on our ability to earn, and I recognise, understand, and have been a victim of, that.

I’ll also be around to pop in for a chat every now and again.

What others have said:
‘I said things in the group that I’d never said before – not to my therapist, not to my wife, not to anybody.’
‘I love that no one tries to “fix” me in this group; what I say is just accepted.’
‘There’s no judgement.’
‘I find the support incredible.’
‘I wish there had been something like this when I was at the start of my parenting journey.’
